When Kazakhstan's national grid operator modernised its dispatch system, it chose a platform built in Kazakhstan: Faceplate. The project was financed from KEGOC's own funds.
Today KEGOC’s grid of about 27,000 km of high-voltage lines and more than five million signals run through the platform, with 99.99% uptime. The Government of Kazakhstan reported $1.6 million saved across the KEGOC group through lower losses, and $1.3 million lower operating costs for users. AI.KEGOC, built on the platform, won the national AI Governance Cup 2026.
Also running: three compressor stations at Kashagan, and turbine monitoring at the 48 MW wind farm of Eni’s Arm Wind.
