Running where the lights cannot go out.
A national grid, a wind farm and the compressor stations at Kashagan run on Faceplate today. These are the projects our customers allow us to name.

KEGOC · National transmission grid
The national grid runs on Faceplate.
The system operator modernised its national SCADA/EMS on Faceplate: 5M+ tags, 99.99% uptime, and $1.6M saved across the KEGOC group through lower losses.

KEGOC
Load distribution recalculated almost every second
On top of wide-area monitoring, Faceplate runs automatic load distribution for the generating stations on Kazakhstan’s national grid. The calculation used to run once a day; now it runs almost every second.

Connecting power plants to automatic frequency control
Automatic power and frequency control holds the grid’s frequency in isolated operation and balances power flows with neighbouring systems. Faceplate connected power plants to it and built consumption forecasting with a machine-learning model for every station and substation.

Eni · Arm Wind
One SCADA for a 48 MW wind farm
Badamsha is Eni’s first wind farm in Kazakhstan, built through its subsidiary Arm Wind. For Phase 2, Faceplate SCADA runs the ten turbines and brings the substation, safety controllers, fire panels and CCTV into one system, monitored remotely from other cities and countries.

Kashagan · Intergas Central Asia
Asset performance for turbines and compressors at Kashagan
The booster compressor station at Kashagan compresses gas for pipeline transport. Its Faceplate SCADA includes asset performance management (APM), which analyses how turbines and compressors are running and flags deviations early.
